Keren is a beautiful soul. She is a very outstanding person with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. She is a stunning synthesis of brilliance, aptitude, and enthusiasm. It's no wonder that Joshua has fallen head over heels in love with this amazing woman, and we can't wait to see the incredible things they will accomplish together as they embark on this new chapter of their lives.

Our Journey

2002

The Beginning

Joshua and Keren first crossed paths as classmates in the second grade at Good Shepherd Christian School in the Philippines. Despite being in the same class, they had little interaction and moved in different circles. Joshua was passionate about computer games, while Keren’s interests leaned towards music. But they particularly like making fun and pranking classmates when snapping pictures.

2014

The Encounter

After Grade School, Joshua and Keren went to different schools during their secondary years. They hardly saw each other and their paths didn’t cross much. It wasn’t until they both became part of the church worship team that they started to interact more. They were both passionate about serving God and it brought them closer together. They had weekly rehearsals and services and they started to get to know each other better.

2016

The Career

Keren had to emigrate to Singapore for work, so they had to rely on online channels to maintain communication. However, despite the distance, their relationship simply became stronger. The following year, Joshua joined Keren in Singapore to work and be with her.

2019

The Courtship

Joshua and Keren flew back home to the Philippines and Joshua asked for Keren’s parents’ permission to court her. They both knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

2022

The Proposal

On the nineteenth of June, Joshua and Keren completed an Online Marriage Preparation Course (MPC) at Milestone Coffee Cafe, a place where they often went for walks. After the course, Joshua surprised Keren by getting down on one knee and proposing to her right there in the cafe. Keren was caught off guard but overjoyed and said yes.

They announced the exciting news to loved ones and began wedding preparations. Milestone Coffee Cafe, where Joshua proposed, held a special place in their hearts and would always be cherished.

2023

The Wedding

Finally, on 30th June 2023, Joshua and Keren will exchange their wedding vows at Chijmes Hall, Singapore, surrounded by their family and friends.
